Make it Interactive!

In all mediums..

Artists put so much of themselves in their own work, I can only ask the same in return from my audience.

I target my viewers’ intuition and “childish” impulses, seeking youthful curiosities while experiencing the worlds’ simplicities for the first time.

Art does not always need to be so serious; it can be fun, like in its creation. Use nothing but instinct and play away!

“you are home” (2022)

10” x 10”

Screenprint

In the same way each and every listener interprets an album in their own unique way, no matter the artist intentions, the same can be said of visual art. I often strive to cross the boundary of untouchable fine art, mirroring physical spaces we make our own and connect with. Fill this empty room with what brings you peace and safety… or whatever “home” may mean to you.

“stay n’ play” (2022)

3’ x 4’ x 6’

Play rug, found objects, spray paint, glue, Makey Makey

Audience is invited to remove objects from the sculpture and place them on areas of the rug to create sound layered on top of each other. This personalized experience and experimentation were inspired by lo-fi music aesthetics.

“before it’s too late” (2022)

28” x 36”

Screenprint, graphite, and ink

Part of the “binders to barricades” installation, this interactive oversized letter paper encourages people to leave a message, for others or for themselves.

“boo boo keys” (2022)

7” x 5” x 1/2”

Wood

Piano puzzle, turning one hands-on experience into another. Fit pieces together and find harmonies.

“tickle the ivories” (2023)

48” x 42” x 5”

Found piano spine, white keys, twine, and paracord.

The input becomes the output. Push and play the spine and the keys clank together. A noise maker nonetheless.
