Artist Statement

I use my art to recontextualize found and discarded source material while pulling from pop culture media, using generational observation to play with audiences’ preconceived notions. Whether it is my constant need to collect and grasp onto each moment as they pass, or simply neurodivergent tendencies, hoarding items has kept me grounded with my past. Reminders of the countless memories I often find just slipping by. My assemblage screenprints and interactive installations aim to evoke feelings of nostalgia and further appreciate the art of the everyday.
